Ok, so i bought some new rotors for my fronts. TO my surprise i got a 2nd set of rotors for the rear. I thouht i was only buying the front but i guess i bought a F&R set.

Any who, they dont look like they fit. I already have a set of cross drilled-slotted rotors up front with the bullet-cobra caliper. And the rotors that i just bought look a little bigger than the ones that are already on there. I have pics with and with out a tape messure next to them.

But i cant post them, can somone put them up for me?

I was wondering can my stock calipers handle a bigger rotor? if not which one should i buy to upgrade the rear?

I have heard that other poeple haev had problems with the e-brake wire not reaching all the way or not pulling all the way when you up grade your rear calipers-rotors. is this true?

Thanks for your help SN :SNSign:

They sent you a set of front and rear Cobra rotors.

The rear rotors measure 11.65" while your stockers are 10.5"

You can't run the rear rotors unless you installed the proper brackets which are included in the 2300-M Cobra disk kit ($170 from summit). To install, you'll need to pull your axles out.

You can use the stock calipers you have now with a little grindng work or you can buy bullitt or cobra rear calipers.

The e-brake problem is usually the guys upgrading to the 13" rear kits. The e-brake should work fine with the CObra rear disk kit.

ok cool, thanks for the info.

One more question. Are the rears like the front. Where all i need to buy is the calipers. OR do i need to buy the calipers and those brackets to make it work?

And what would i have to grind and how much to make i work?

thanks Mustang5L5

ok so i called summit and they do not sell just the bracket. I would have to buy the entire kit, which includes the rotors and other stuff.

I'm wondering do i need this bracket to get this done?

if so where can i buy just the bracket?

Thanks SN

Brackets separately from FOrd are $75 each and the anti-moan brackets are $40 each.

It's cheaper to buy the kit and sell the rotors which go for $100/pair new.

Only other option is to search around to find them used. You'll need the axle brackets and anti-moan brackets. 4 items total.
