04 mustang v6 crank runs then dies

I’m at a lost my mustang cranks and starts then it idles rough back firing and jumping the rpms and dies unless I keep my foot in it then it runs wide open until it stutters and dies when I put in it gear I notice it will drain a battery in a few starts even my big truck battery that has 810 crank amps
