After reading about a few 04's sticking the throttle I am pissed as mine stuck today in 3rd at the track. The pedal bracket gets stuck behind the carpet. I trimmed it about 1" away and it was fine. Ford better have an emergency reacll before someone gets killed.
My 04 is sitting @ the dealer right now because of the sticking throttle, yeah, its the carpet, but after the sticking, I immediatly hd "the tick", it lasted about 2 days, then went away. I had serious hassle with my local dealer, but after a call to Ford, a SVT service adviser is comming to talk with me sometime this week.
I have a few other isseus, pop in rear end, cluck on shifting, all the normal stuff people post about, but its like I told michael @ Ford, I didnt spend this type of cash for a car with problems like this...
