Roush 05 281-SC Info.... who has one? Need Advice

Hello All..

I am new to the forums and im currently looking to purchase an 05 SC. Can anyone here give me first hand info on purchasing an 05? I have talked to a few dealers here in MI and Im worried about getting screwed over... I do get A-plan so that helps on the price, but what kind of negotiations can happen with MSRP? Being an A plan customer all my life, I have never had to haggle on price. Can anyone offer me some advice on the 281-SC and the overall Saleen purchase experience? I have heard some pretty bad horror stories.....

Try Ron Ward at Campbell Ford in Niles, MI. They are a volume dealer, no "market adjustments, and they will deal.

I called Ron today and now I am in the process of ordering an 06' 281-SC. Great guy to deal with. Im excited beyond words right now

Sorry it took me so long to reply....... Ron Ward at Campbell Ford in Niles MI is just fantastic to deal with. It is obvious why he is the #1 Saleen Dealer in the Midwest. I have on order a 2006 281-SC, white with white wheels and blue graphics. The only options I have selected are HID's and Shaker 1000 Audio. In talking with Ron, looks like the 06 SC car is going to have the big brakes standard plus a few other minor changes. Hoping for a Dec/Jan time of arrival.

I noticed at the Saleen show Saturday some of the big-braked ’05 S281-SCs had two-piece rotors instead of the one-piece versions I had seen up to that time.
