So I have a 2005 mustang GT, and this guy I know has a 68 hes wanting to put the stock grill from my car onto his car problem is hes in BC and im in SK not close to one another at all. My question is will it work? hes prepared to do some modifications but would anyone know if its even worth the time? Or if it would work before I send the grill out to him.

you would have to measure the grille openings on both cars and compare. it could be done no matter what with enough fabrication. without seeing the measurements, i couldnt tell you how much it would take. if they are approx. the same size, it should be easy.
