Picked up my Torch Red GT today here in England - WOW! Can't remember when I have smiled so much - (sorry, dear!).
Turning heads on the air force base where I teach, and in the towns and villages I drove through - seems like everyone over here has been waiting to spot one, and I think mine is one of the first on the road here. What a feeling! Feels great, looks awesome, runs fantastic, and will probably be causing some whiplash medical claims!

Will take pics tomorrow and post them, with some English scenes in the background! Anyone else over here have one yet?

Here are the first pics of my first 'Stang - still can't stop smiling! Causing a few heads to turn on the Air Force base, and in the local communities. Seems like everyone knows this car!

Sharp looking car!
Is the steering wheel on the left, just like the US models?

Totally U.S. specs - had to get the lights adjusted, extra small front lights and side turn indicators added - but other than that, it is American all the way! And the Brits love it - almost as much as I do! With these wet roads, I'll be washing it as much as I drive it - but small price to pay to drive the best!
I'm new at this - but a serious Mustang convert now! Haven't had this much fun since my '65 GTO when I was in high school in Chicago!

Another UK picture

Here's another pic - in front of a village pub, thatched roof and all. You should have seen them coming outside to have a look! This beast is awesome - and I paid about half of what they are asking for them over here. I figure I will be able to sell it in 2 or 3 years for the same money I paid for it. How's that for a deal - get to drive this sweet thing for free!

I will be down your way sometime this week txwolfy. I can't wait to check it out. Good looking car and I can't wait to see it in person. I'm glad I will be able to finally see the 05 (hopefully).

A big thank you to txwolfy today, not only did he bring his new GT up to my work today, he let me drive it!!!

And I have to say it not only met up to my expectations but greatly exceeded them. The build quality is excellent, the IUP interior looks so much better in real life than pictures. The exhaust note is sweet & the whole car has so much presence it just brings a silly grin to your face!

Most of my co-workers came out to see what all the fuss was about (I work for a Chrysler dealer in the UK) each and everyone of them was bowled over by the new Mustang. I can't wait for mine to arrive.

Big thanks to Bernie, that was a real treat to get to drive that beautiful car of yours.

Jeff

My dream soon (next 2 years or so) is to buy a new GT Vert, and then bring it to Europe and drive around for a few months.
I will need to bring some cash though, at $4 plus per gallon...

That Mustang looks so wonderfully out of place over there!

Very cool. Would blend it real well over there if they offered the Highland Green.

Drove into London today for the first time - yes, it really turns heads! Next time will take the camera and get some cool location shots! Was fun taking it to Cambridge to show off, especially to a real Mustang fan. I'm new at this - he's a pro! When he gets his GT we will have a black and red team that will be fun to see the British reaction to -

The car is beautiful bruh, I was down that way last Tuesday and I saw it across from Popeyes. I stopped and got out of my car to really appreciate it, but I didn't wanna look in your windows cuz my car was left idling. I didn't want anybody saying I was plotting to steal something out of it or whatever cuz it was dark outside. I reved my engine when I took off to give a Stang thumbs up before I left.

I lived in England for a while back in 2002- I cannot imagine what kind of money you are spending on Gas there- and have you gotten sick of never seeing the sun yet???
