05 GT SEATS WITH SIDE AIRBAGS

I'm looking at installing a new interior on my 2005 gt. I wanted to use TMI's products. I like that they can match the color of my car. Problem is that they don't make products for seats with side airbags. Has anyone completely deleted the side airbags? Maybe to put in racing seats. If so, are there procedures I can follow to remove the side airbags without possible injury and also update or fool the computer ? Thanks for any advice.
