Yes, but you don't need to to tell it's hydraulic. The clutch is feather light compared to other Mustangs.
Chicks will love it because it takes almost no effort, but for any current Mustang owner it may take some getting used to.
As of right now I didn't like it in the one I test drove a couple of weeks ago, but that's just because the only manual trans cars I've ever had have been Mustangs.
So if you've got weak ankles, legs or knees, you'll love it. I'm hoping it will make for faster shifting once I've driven one a while.

I have a hydraulic clutch in my 88 tbird turbo coupe and it does feel soft at all. I think its just the new design. Look for a hydraulic fluid resovior.

The 2005 mustang is in fact, a hydraulic clutch. And, for those who wish to make the pedal stiffer, there is an adjustment for this. Just requires two small wrenches and adjust the valve on the cylinder. Don't go too far though, you'll lose fluid.

Not sure if I like that or not. I have a heavy duty ford racing clutch and I love it. Everyone else complains it's too heavy but once you get used to that, it's that or nothing, everything else feels.... cheap? Hmmmm :-/

I don't want my clutch to be too light either. My 2001 Mustang GT clutch is perfect for me as far as clutch effort goes.

If the 2005 is a lot lighter, I'll be dissappointed.

Well, unless, I drove an oddball one, you'll be disapointed.
It's a LOT lighter.
However, the rest of the car is so great, it makes up for it and I'm sure we'll get used to it.
