My friend just bought a new 05 mustang manual gt. He asked me what he should do to it to get about 450 wheel horse power. I searched around and found a lot of contradicting posts and opinionated posts.

What I'm looking for is if there is any performance parts companies for this car that have had their products dyno tested proving positive results. I do not want him to spend 1000.00 and get no gains. I was curious as to what the best headers are for this car, long tube I'm assuming, x-pipe for performance? I know he wants high flow cats and he does want to finish it off with an axel back exhaust. HE DOESNT care if it sounds bad, he just wants it to perfrom well.

He told me about a CAI debate and asked if they were even worth it, I told him yes... but I read a post where they tested a moroso fender well cai didnt give any gains. So I was wondering if they had done any tests for this car... These are just the basics, anyone want to go into details that'd be cool.

You know, if you took the time to use the search function all of your questions would be answered. Asking people to reinvent the wheel by posting everything we have been discussing for months is kind of lazy on your part. Maybe others are bored and want to recreate 10 topics in this thread, but i don't see the point since we have a search function (heck, you could scroll through the first 2 pages of posts and find most of the answers).

I didn't find what I was looking for in my searches on the forum. I'm trying to help a friend here. I asked for specific companies and results based on dyno charts. I did not find any dyno results between header companies or axelbacks etc... If you could post a link that'd be great.

Like I said, most of what has been said here that I have read, seems to be opinonated or based on sound.
