Just put long tube headers, off road H pipe, CAI & tune over the past few months. It SOMETIMES idols rough, died in reverse for the first time today & after that the RPM's were at 550, 70 mph, for the first hour and a half of my drive. After I filled it back up with gas and left it off for about 10 mins the next hour drive was smooth. It also sputters and jerks sometimes when I accelerate, other times it doesn't. I do use premium octane gas. Cleaned my MAF and it seemed to help a little but, not much. Anyone else have this problem?

You should try cleaning the inside of the throttle body as well, especially where the blades meet the bores. Even a slight amount of dirt could cause a problem.

Awesome I'll try that too. Thanks.

A clean throttle body makes a big difference. I clean mine every other oil change.

Good to know, headed to get some cleaner now. Started her up today and it blew out clouds of black smoke for a good minute

+1 One the TB fix. A little build up can disrupt the airflow enough for it to think it is running lean and throw more fuel at it.
