I am wondering what the kind of brace is on the rearend of this mustang I just purchased. I got this car from the mother of a man who died and she has almost no information about it. I can say its got an eforce blower with a 2.75 inch pulley, kook longtubes and the factory readout shows boost and mass airflow and anything a scanner can show you. The car just flys, I mean is scary fast and I want a bit of help figuring it out. I did need to repair the car as the back half was destroyed in a fire.

Look how close the valve os to the spark plug. I took a pic with a boroscope down the plug hole. Are these stock pistons?

What brace are you talking about? Don't see anything in the pics. Couldn't tell you much else, these pics don't show a lot. Not sure about the gauge readout, might be some kind of custom job made to look factory.

Well, that's not a brace, that's a torque arm. Didn't even know they made one for the '05-09 cars but it appears Griggs does, although I can't find pictures of one that looks exactly like this one.

Yeah, that's a torque arm and you also have an adjustable panhard bar.
Looks like a custom exhaust set up with resonators in the pipes aft of the X.
