I was changing a Differential Pressure Feedback Sensor on my 1994 Ford Mustang 3.8 L and noticed a hose disconnected from a cylindrical sensor that is just dangling. I reconnected it and snapped a pic and circled the sensor in red in the attached pic. Could you help me in identifying the sensor? I reconnected, but it needs new hosing and I want to make sure I get the right stuff. Also, is this sensor just supposed to dangle freely or should it be attached to something?

It may be a purge valve for the charcoal canister, have you looked at codes?
Purge valve will have a connector like you describe and a vacuum line from intake to valve, vac line from valve to canister, not sure where on V6 it's located.
