05 Wheels and tires

Just wondering if the o5 wheels will fit on my 96 gt? I imagine I might need some wheel spacers??? anyone know

I don't think the 05 wheels fit anything but the 04. When I've looked at wheels to buy, there's a category for 96-04 and a separate category for 05...

94-04 Mustang wheels have a 5.72" backspacing.

05+ have 5.295" of backspacing

That means the backs of 05 wheels are 0.425" shallower.

When put on an 94-04 Mustang, they will stick out about 1/2" more than stock. You'll have to see if this is livable. 99-04 cars can pull it off but not sure about 94-98

I now on my 96 the rear wheels r set in pretty far so the 05s will be almost inline with the body line of the wheel well right??

if ur dad has them why dont u jus try them worst case u waisted 30 mins switching tires its not hard even if u dont have an air gun

30 minutes i wish..I am in maine and he is in florida..but i am heading done next week to have the car painted and i was just wondering if they would fit or if i needed spacers 4 them b4 i get there
