Help!! Angry Wrench problem. I cleaned Throttle Body changed TPS. Installed new plugs and idle still sticking and engine running very poorly. Acts like it's not firing on all cylinders. Noticeable horsepower loss. Could it be my Cats? When I bought the car it already had Mods: ( Not sure if there has been a tune installed or not) 20" BOSS Wheels/K&N CAI/BBK 62mm Throttle Body/X-Pipe

Wondering if part of it could be the throttle body, I've heard of people having issues with them.

Mass Air Sensor maybe? And if cats are clogged, yes. But I doubt that. The TPS you changed, was that on the pedal side?

You're going to be chasing your tail if its modded and you don't know if the tune is good or not. Is it possible to return to stock? Maybe get a new tune??

Try scanning the ECU for codes and see what you come up with. It'll help in troubleshooting the problem.

Did you put any anti-seize on the new sparkplugs before you installed them?

I put a tiny amount on the smooth part, but I did not put any on the threads. When I pulled the plugs at 60,000 miles to check, they looked good. I read somewhere not to put it on the threads, because it is easier to overtighten, and it not tightened enough, easy for them back out. I am sure it would be fine to put a small amount on it though.

As long as you did not get any anti seize on or near the tip of the plug you should be ok. It's a known issue if you get even a little anti seize on the tip, it will cause all kinds of misfire problems.
