im wanting to put 06 mustangs wheels on a foxbody. I have the back worked out im putting a rearend out of a lincoln mark VII but i need to figure out how to do the front. can i put later model control arms and spindles on it to widen the track and make up for the back spacing? Any ideas

Hey dude.Welcome. As most well tell you, use the search button at the top right of each pape. At the top of this forum, there is sticky thread dedicated to this. You will need stuff from a 94-95 sn95, v6 or v8. I SHOULD be picking up my parts today, but the snow may say otherwise. If I do, I will take pictures.

you need the spindles from a 94-95 mustang if you want to retain stock fox track width....96 spindles are a little wider. you will also need calipers rotors etc.... as stated above there is a sticky on the top of the forum that is very helpful.

My 91 (the red one) has 05 GT wheels and 94-95 spindles with 1/4" spacers. They're pretty narrow and they rub on the lower A arms at full lock. I just haven't changed the spindles out yet for 96+. The rears are SN95 axles.

Repo style...Your the man!:nice: I just picked up a 96 saleen pbr set up for both fronts for $150!:D I see these wheels all the time, and I like them, but did not know what they looked like on the fox! Quick question? with the 96 spindles, would I have to run spacers on the rear axles??? How large if so?

Thank you.

im going to be running 18" saleens for 05+ stangs on the back of mine.

ill have them mounted if all goes as planned, on monday. i just purchased sn95 wheels for the front and then matched the rim on the rear for 05+ standards.

not alot of choices, but they will fit best.

It's the offset of 05 wheels on the 94-95 spindles. I can put 94-95 wheels on there and it would look fine. As far as the rear I'm using the longer sn95 axles with no spacers. Just use 96+ spindles on the front and you'll be golden.

Thanks guys. I still haven't found the sticky thing at the top of the page.Sorry im a newbie.I did get that i will need 96 and up spindles and brakes but I still don't know what control arms to use. Thanks for all the replies
