I haven't asked a 5.0 question in awhile but I am getting ready to build up a new engine for my '95. My question is this:
I have a set of '93 Cobra GT40 heads that have been machined for a Loc Wire Gasket. The block I am using has a .060 overbore. Do I need to get a specific overbored head gasket, or does the standard bore head gasket (with Loc Wire) work fine in this case?
I think I confused myself along the way, IIRC the modular motors need specific bore head gaskets b/c the piston travels into the head / combustion chamber.. that's not the case on the 5.0 b/c the piston stops before the head, right?
