07-09 GT wheels on 98?

Have a question for you guys. Lookin to get some new tires on my car and found a guy who is selling new tires w/ his wheels. The only thing is they are off of a 07-09 GTs, was wondering if this would fit on my 98gt. Thanks

offsets are different, they would look funny.

they would look really goofy. they would be sunk in a lot.

I beleive the difference in offset is about 3/4", sunken in as others have said. I have a set of 06 GT wheels with 245-45-17 nittos and put those on the back of the 97 once. They definately looked a bit funny since the stock wheels are tucked so far to start with, but no rubbing. I'm am sure the fronts would rub on the struts and/or A-arms without wheel spacers (and that's a whole 'nother can of worms).

So maybe you can make it work with wheel spacers, but they won't bolt on easily.
