Hello everyone im new to the forums and I came across this website while searching for information. So heres the problem.. my girlfriends car is a 2007 ford mustang, coupe hard top, v6
About a month n a half ago i had a viper alarm/remote start/ keyless entry professionally installed. also installed was a ford PATS override module.
1.5 months later shes having issues with her stereo. It came factory with the Shaker 500 6disk fancy radio. The cd player will allow you to insert/eject cds but the rest of the stereo is dead. the buttons are illuminated at night but the small screen is black, and pressing the knob to power on does nothing. she is freaking out on me because she believes its because of the alarm i got for her birthday.
Does anyone know what might be wrong? I checked all the fuses tonight, and pulled the unit (did not unplug) but checked to ensure all plugs were inserted properly- still nothing. everything else on the vehicle works, so ive isolated the problem to the stereo. I know this seems petty but if anyone could help I would really appreciate it.
2007 ford mustang
48k miles
thanks!!!
