I'm just looking for some opinions on something. With the nice cold weather we're having, my times have dropped quite nicely. When I'm nearing the end of the quarter mile, I am faced with either taking 3rd to red line or just a bit past or shifting into 4th. Now I have two identical 13.945 runs. On the 1/8 of one run I got 9.003. On my second the 1/8 was 8.955 but my redline came up sooner and I held it there rather than shifting to 4th. My question is do you thing a shift to 4th would have improved the time or made it worse. Just curious as to what you pro racers think. Oh and yes I'm still with stock gear and shifter
