1.7.1 rockers crane ford

buy just using 1.7.1 rockers would pushrod length need to be changed from stock length. if yes are they normaly longer or shorter.

Typically they are longer. But every motor is different so the safest thing to do is use a pushrod length checker. It's only $15.00 dollars or so and will save you in the long run. They can be bought from Summit.

It's worth noting that a few people on these boards use the stock length pushrod with 1.7's...

I just use stock pushrod length on all my 1.7's - they always tighten down in 3/4 turn with proper preload on the lifters with no shims so far.... currently one is on a stock cam and my other is E303 with crane roller lifters and springs
