1 7/8" headers into 3"

Has anyone had any luck getting 1 7/8 headers into a 1965/66. I'm not looking to cut shock towers. I don't mind if they are 100% custom. Everyone out there seems to only be able to get 1 3/4 in there. I'm deciding on my engine config and its going to be high revving and at least 600hp.

If you are talking 600+ HP, perhaps you should build your own? I built my own, it allowed me to configure the headers exactly as I wanted for my desired powerband. It also lets you make actual equal length headers(which 90% of headers on the market are not) with true merge collectors(again 90% of the headers do not have) with v-band flanges(instead of the cheap 3 bolt flanges). In the end building my headers took about 3 days of labor, but it was well worth the effort spent, I got my pieces here:
