Hi there everyone. Thanks for whoever will help me out on this one. I've read on the subject and I'm still kind of confused regarding clearance issues, wether it be piston to valve or valve covers. I'd like to get whatever informations you guys could have regarding my project.

I got AFR's 165cc heads. I got 1.7 Crane Cobra roller rockers and the XE 270HR-14 cam.

Specs for the cam: http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/cca-35-351-8/overview/make/ford

What do you guys think of this setup? I got the parts but unsure about the install regarding clearance issues. I'm more of a bolt-on guy and I don't understand much about the advanced engine talks (not yet), and I wish I can improve that while on this topic. What customizing will I need to do? Thanks a lot for whatever input you guys can bring!

You really need to check piston to valve clearance, that is the responsible thing to do. Deck height on your block will play a big role in whether or not you will have an issue. Are the heads new or have they been decked before? This too will play a huge role in clearances. The 1.7 ratio rockers are also a concern for clearance issues.
It would be in your best interest to remove the cylinder heads and actually check your clearances. As far as valve covers go, you will more than likely need taller than stock valve covers and a small spacer for the upper plenum. If you need some step by step directions for checking ptv, let me know
