What does a mid 13 second car run in the 1/8th? I have never run my car, but i am sort of expecting mid 13's out of it, and the only local track is 8th mile.

the dif b/t 1/8th times and 1/4 times is x1.57

so if you ran a 8.2 it would be 8.2x1.57=12.9
and of course you could do the vise-verca, if you're looking to hit 12's, do 12.9/1.57=8.2 1/8th mile

That sounds like a good "guestimate" formula. But there's no way that can be an acurate way of telling. Some cars may really "pick up" around the 1/8 mile mark ..... some may not.

Its just for rough estimates (within .15 for most cars), of course cars like big-turbo supra's wont work well w/ this or cars that top out at 35mph

You cant go by set/given numbers because each car is different. I had an 8.4 eigth mile and a 12.9 et so yea.

60ft, gears, how many times and how well you shift will all be factors. I guess you can come close, but close is not exact

well, guesstimate is good for me, being as i have never legally raced on pavement, i have mud dragg'd but that was an auto, so shifting didnt count.
