Haha thanks. I haven't done a build thread yet although I should. I just randomly post pics of it once in a while in different threads. The basics are it's a 91GT I bought a couple years ago that rode terrible. I attacked the suspension with MM coilovers, Bilisteins, and MM weight jakcer LCA's with Eibachs in the back to achieve 4 wheel ride height adjustability. I fixed up some little stuff like having the windows re-tinted, speedo(new cluster) and a bunch of other little things. Later on I added a Vortech to the stock motor. The car has 3.73's and full exhaust. I'm hoping to go five lug and Megasquirt as my next big mods.

How I bought it:

How it is pretty much looks now:

Stay away from the LRS units that are anything but the ones made by ford. They all take on water, fog up, the chrome on the inside melts off, and then they dont work for chit

I think they leak and fog up. I'm pretty sure that's what's on my car. I get some fog once in a while in one of mine. My car is garage kept so it doesn't happen very often. I think if you parked outside overnight you would have big problems. Stick to the Ford ones if at all possible.

Long story short you kind of get what you pay for here. The Ford ones cost more up front but will last 5x as long as the cheaper ones and you wont be going to car shows with condensation inside your headlights.

Here's a note of the cheap-o china made lights.

I had them from the previous guy and figured, whatever, they're halos, not my taste, but functional.

Welll, upon further inspection I looked at one headlight that wasn't attached to the car, it was just set in there. I was like, why didn't he bother to put nuts on it? Well I pulled it out and I see all 4 (or 6?) points snapped off in the cheap plastic and it no longer could attach.

I wouldn't mess with them again. I have oem lights back in it, and if they're from a 92' that means they've held up for 20 years, reliably versus the year old halos that didn't even come close.

The trick to pulling off smoked headlights.... is to have a b!tchen car.

But seriously, these were in the car when I bought it and I think they work great with the color. I would have never ordered them with out having seen them, but I love these. They guy that put the car together had good taste, IMO.

Nice! I hope mine falls into that category. I've got smoked ultra clears

The sad truth...is aftermarket...stock....they all fog up at some point. Don't think because it's got a little Ford oval in the corner and you paid 3X as much for them that you're immune to these issues. Heck, I used to see headlights in brand new cars sitting on the dealer lot fogged up in the early AM when I worked at the local Ford Dealer in my early-20's.
