Yea ... 1"ers will look SOOO much better! I went with the 1.25" spacers and mine are right to the edge of the inside of the fenders with 255/40/17s on it. No matter what kinda angle I get, they never hit. You will be happy with the 1" spacers. Make sure you use Anti-seize on the back sides to keep them from bonding with hub. I got pics if ya wanna see what they look like.
I have two inchers on my car.. only cause the rims I wanted only come in FRNT wheel drive offset. Ive had them for two years now and they arn't bad. I also have 1.25 on my S-10 and I do alot of offroading but they hold up.. I trust them..
yea i have 9 inch rims and i don't like how my front tires stick out a bit more then my rears, whe nu guys talk about puttin 1 inch spacers on, do u mean only on the rear wheels? and if so i'm so doin that cuz i want my wheels to stick out some more, and how much are they?
Hey ... sorry about taking so long! I have been too busy with work!! Here is the pic of my car from front to back using the 1.25" spacers on the 95 Cobra R rims ... 17x9. Hope this helps! I love em!
Yea, only on the rears and they were a little over $110. It makes a NOTICABLE difference in how it looks. Handles really well too!
just don't make them stick out too far ... i saw a maxima the other day with the wheels too far out; it was one of the stupidest looking cars i have ever seen.
thats deff. not tooo far. that looks just about right, but it is hard to tell from just one pic. after i lower mine in a week or so, i will probably get spacers for my cobra r's too.
i just put 1 inch spacers on over the weekend and i love them the put the wheel right where i wanted them and they don't rub going into my driveway which was my biggest concern ,i'm running 99 cobra wheels .
They go on just like your wheel. you tighten them down with the provided lugnuts. Then you have studs coming from the spacers themselves, separate from the actual axle that you attach the wheels to.
Does anyone have a closer up picture of how far the 1.25 spacers offset the rear wheels i comparison to the rear fender. Seems to me they look just about perfect.
