ok to my next question.. what are the chances of the 17x10.5's w/ 315 35 series tires fittin on my car with out the spacer??? does havin the car lowered have an affect on it? my car is runnin MM full coilovers and with the 18in 35series tires i can fit about 2 3 fingers inbetween the fenderwell and tires..
there is nothing different about your car than a GT when it comes to fitment of wheels other than you dont have any quad shocks....and that only works in your favor because that gives you a little extra room. I ran 17x10.5's with a 315/35/17 tire in the rear of my 03 GT and it was perfect. you shouldnt have any problems. if you order a set of wheels specifically for a mustangs you will be fine, its all in the backspacing. the 10.5 wheels are sized in such a way to fill out your wheelwell to the outside while inside clearance is nearly the same as stock. enjoy! its so worth it.
