100+ octane out west?

The Chevron at Jantzen beach has it, but thats not much better for ya... Im sure some of the speed shops out in beaver/burro area must have it. The tuner guys would need it for sky high boost levels.

Isnt there a tuner place over on TV hwy, by Intel in beaverton? (dr feelgoods, etc...)

I know that it's not really a Mustang racers style to go to an import shop but Race Dezign is right down the street from you, and the owner Fred is a good friend and VERY knowlegable and ususaly has a can or two of VP sitting around for sale.

They have a lot of respect for built domestics and always love to ask lots of questions so when you go in be prepared to answer lots.

 yah that 19-20 y/o kid who didnt even own the car wanted to race for $1000 dollars. Sorry but an S2000 running mid 13's shouldnt be trying to race anyone for a grand:nonono: I tried to line up behind them after the spitting incedent with Eric, but the S2000 didn't want any of it once he saw what I was running:owned:

We even had the Italian Mafia on our side that night:nice: And Guido was huge:hail2:

They need to start breathalizing people there sometimes:nice:

Maybe we can setup a race between my car and that S2000, is it a shop car? My car is almost complete:D

I thought it was silver, and from Rice Dezigns...but I could be mistaken. I know it had the big sticker at the base of the windshield and they were using a 5 Gal bucket of fuel as ballast to try and get the thing out of the hole.

The turbo S2000 I remember was black. As I recall, it came from DragTec. The thing ran 14.8's when I saw it at PIR!:rlaugh:

There was actually a couple of them, as the first one was a guy who mech'd there (he owned the black one) and then struck out on his own and started DragTec. He decided to build his own turbo setup and that car actually put out some serious power, but did not live too long. He baisicly built the setup to blow the stock motor and then was going to build another.

From then on the turbo setup made it's way to two or three different cars, and for the most part I don't know the history of racing and such as I was out of the scene for a bit.

I personally am not a big fan of some of the cars that they build, but then again not all people are Mustang fans either. They did build some amaizing import cars that ran consistent low 10's and 11's and drove to and back from the track. I get a sweet deals on many things from the owner who is a great resource on some things.

Yeah, I figured there were several lurking around. The one time I saw the black S2000 run, it rattled to hell and seemed to have some tuning issues. I guessed that the car had been driven hard and put away wet. I never went in any of the import shops, as I didn't have an import. Though, I did hear from many people that several shops in the area were selling hot parts and were involved in the drug trade.:nonono: Hopefully those are the ones that have gone out of business.
