Holy crap! Thanks guy I do appreciate it! Seriously dude was scamming me. He said he bought from NC at the 6k ad said from the original seller. He just made up a bunch of parts and power. I will contact ebay. He said he hasn't done 1 mode himself and has not driven it. Hols chit what a liar. I was moments away from sending him a d@mn deposit too. Again THANK YOU!! I really do appreciate it.

Another problem

Dude, that's some funny stuff right there. It went from 72 to 12 back to 73k miles. Have some fun with this guy and ask him why the odometer was rolled back, or rolled over and has 173k miles on it more likely.

hahahha.. He converted the C4 from R12 to 134 so it must be running cooler. That and the EIGHT shocks kills me. Noobz, any idea where you would fit the extra 2 struts up front? lol

Yeah, that got a chuckle out of me....but I was more interest in how he got 5-forward-gears out of a 3-speed C4 transmission? I can only assume he's talking about 2nd and 3rd gear "lock-up" for the torque converter.....but he's listing them as two additional gears? WTF???

The only thing worse than listening to someone regurgitate stats they not nothing about, is listening to someone regurgitate incorrect stats about something they know nothing about. lol

Looks like the ship has sailed on this thread already but i will add my thoughts on pump gas and high compression.

The people that say you cant run 11 or 12:1 compression have probably never tried it. I have had two motors over 11:1 compression and only run pump gas with them. They both performed flawlessly and detonation was never a problem NA.

My old 345" motor was pretty tame in my opinion. 11.2:1 compression, TFS CNC 205's, box R intake, custom cam and a hydraulic roller. Shifted it around 6700-6800 rpms.

New motor is a little bit hairy, it is definitely on the edge of what some would call a street motor. 12:1, 240cc highports, .750+ lift cam, CHI intake, 7200-7500 rpm shift point that will probably go up this season.

Dynamic compressions obviously going to be important so there can be a few more variables besides your static number. Camshaft weighing on that heavily like said above.
Mines iron block, aluminum head 11.6:1 and is pump gas friendly no problem. Only a .612 cam in comparison but also spun to 7500. It's all in the combo.
