110 mph in the 1/4

is it 110mph good for 11.9 in 1/4 mile?
please post your time and mph in 1/4 mile...............

faily low i believe, 2 threads down theres a mach 1 w/ a 109 running a 13.1 but capable of 12.9 or so

110 is good speed. What was your 60 foot time? The faster your 60 foot time will result in a slower your trap speed. So worry about your 60 foot times not your top end.

110 will equate to you being in the low 13 range and possible 12's if you have the necessary tires and 60ft time.

my best time was,12.5xx with 1.7xx 60f (last time I was at the track) today I did couple passes almost identical times 1.8xx 60 f 12.8xx @110mph,my tires sucks azz ,I was able to work the clutch half way dissent in first gear ,but second gear was really bad ,that was when I lost most of my time....... (I think)

I ran a 12.9 @ 117mph with a 2.2 60ft Yesterday on street tires, no traction and an underpowered clutch

But my buddy in his 99 Lightning ran a 12.2 @ 107mph with a 1.8 60ft. So I would imagine a 111mph would equal a good 11.9 pass.

Why don't you post the whole time slip?
Depends on a number of things I would guess 1.7xx 12.2xx 110.xx

I ran twice last week both 12.8 at 110MPH and my 60 foot time are horrible at 2.01. But I am racing at a mile high actually 5800 feet...

with good traction....typically 110mph is good for 12.3-12.5...i have a buddy with h/c/i 306 DSS fox running 12.2 @ 111

i ran an 8.6 at 86 on the 100 shot with a passenger in the car. 2.02 60' lol. sprayed in 1st but i had to shift quick and spun like crazy when i hit 2nd.

that would be a low 13 at probably around 110 lol.

oh yeah track alt was 2500ft with a slight 10mph head wind.

A friend of mine has a 2006 Mustang GT running 11's @ 107 MPH. Another guy I know has an old Chevy Nova running low 11's @ 100 MPH. 111 MPH can get you into the 11's, it really depends on your 60 FT.

^That nova sounds like its dropping off HEAVY on the topend or he is letting off. If he has only enough power to accelerate to 100MPH in the 1/4, he just wouldnt have enough power to pull the 1.3 60' thats needed to do that LOL.

For refrence Warrior, my car went a 12.79 @ 108.8 with a 1.85 60' back when I was all motor. Since yours is obviously stronger than my car was, a low 12 should be pretty easy with some sticky tires. Guy with a mach trapping 109 or so ran 12.4s on some slicks. 1.7x 60 I believe.

I have a friend with a 96 Mercury Cougar XR7 that went 11.993@110.2mph with slicks.

I dont think 110 will get you into the 11s. You would need to pull like 1.5 sixty foot times.

The car has the power to do it, the problem was he was running out of gear. I don't know if he has sorted that out or not yet I will know next year when I see him at the track again.

You can break into 11's at 110.. A well setup car with a good driver can do it easy. Back when I was in turbo regals I knew some guys that ran high 11's bottom 12's with 108-109MPH traps.
