Yes. Tim2002GT is trapping over 115mph with his 125 shot GT.

Yep! Depending on what gearing you have tire size will have an effect on your mph potential. I have 4.10 gears and I use 27" tall tires and my best mph is 118.9. My rpm's at the finish line was almost 6200 rpm though.
