yup and definitely seems like a friendlier place than the corral lol. I mean there are some guys there that are helpful and don't ge their panties in bunches often as some others are notorious for so all in all I just deal with those who care to help without pumping their chest out all the time.....This is why this site is so high quality - The brotherhood helping to make our cars better.

yeah it's been a minute since I've had to change one out on any of the Stangs. Most recent maybe 3 yrs ago on my Nissan frontier though....What's funny is that it doesn't come up all that often. Folks are either getting the right bolts with their parts or extremely lucky. You would think that we'd see threads about that thing specifically, more often.
It's been some time since I had to install a water pump but when I did, I'd ordered a quality bolt kit before hand knowing all my stuff was from the factory so, I didn't run into this issue or even learn about it until later.
Dudes used to get Cobra, GT-40, and Explorer plenums, extrude honed all the time.
They usually clean up the ports by hand, hook it up to the machine, and push abrasive Playdough through it until they get the inside diameter they're after.
Spoke to Tom on a fb thread not long ago - he said they have hung up the carbide bits and retiredHave you thought about having the upper professionally ported? Tom Moss has ported a lot of them.

while we are on this subject I forgot and believe I already bought, actually a quick look at my list for the 331 build I have not bought a pump yet. I'll have to buy a pump but will likely reuse the oem hardware....Is that timing cover/waterpump bolt kit from LMR good? I believe they are ARP bolts if im not mistaken.
Not bad not bad at all. My 331 Vortech build currently for the 95 will let me know what to do for the 200k vortech engine that's in the 94 right now. That's when I need an engine for it. Right now she's still holding pretty strong from the vortec install about 3 months ago .Dyno tune complete. Car picked up 12 hp and 21 tq for a total of 412 rwhp and 421 torque. I'm very happy with the overall number from a N/A 363.
