Hey guys,
I know this has been talked about with the Baer kit. I have the Baer kit on Saleen #77 and got my cables to fit.

Now I'm putting 13" Alcons on the rear of #58 and they are vented and wider than the Baer disks so the pads contact sooner and don't give as much slack in the cable. I don't have the "Loop" on the rear control arms and I removed the anti groan bracket also since they stretch the cable further.
I thought there was adjustment under the car where the park brake handle cable connects...I was wrong! There is no adjustment.

My question is...is there any adjustment on the park brake handle where the cable hooks up to give it more slack?? I never paid any attention to this when I had a console out. If not I won't be able to run the park brakes.

Thanks, Tom

I took the console out so I could get at the park brake and there is no adjustment.

There's a spring on the parking brake handle that is SUPPOSED to rotate backwards and keep some tension on the cable. If it's not rotating either way, then it's frozen and needs to be replaced.

I got it! I had to pull the cables in towards the control arms using ty-wraps this put alot of tension on them. Then when I took the cover plate loose over the one way racheting mechanism then pried the lever up it gave it enough slack and they work now!!
