To keep in with NHRA rules.....basically so I don't fail tech. Will stock wheel studs stick out far enough with 15" 10 hole rims to pass tech....or will I need extra long studs?

 If its a stock factory rim with stock factory studs why wouldnt it work?

NHRA rules state that when running slicks, the stud must stick out past the lugnut the same length as the lugnut itself. I know a lot of people need to go with extended studs...I just don't know if I will need to do that with stock studs and a set of 10-hole rims. I would think the stud sticks out far enough past the lugnut. I can simply mount one on my car and make sure, but I figured a lot of people use 10-hole rims for slicks...and someone would know the answer off the top of their head.

It doesnt have to stick out past the lug, just the diameter of the stud past the wheel.. 1/2". But, I've also been told by a tech guy that since they use a wedge style lug that it was ok... I think the studs stick through far enough either way.

I use 10 holers with slicks and DR's. My track enforces NHRA rules and Ive never had a problem. How fast do you plan on running? ET?

Great, thank you. I figured they would stick through far enough.....but I didn't want to get there and not pass tech. Normally I tech in before changing my tires, but I am going to "slicks only", so I will have to tech in with the slicks on the car.

I am hoping to see 12.99. I was running 13.2 t he last time out, but it was 99* outside, and I found out afterwards that the reason I was detonating was because my timing was set at 25*...oops. It is back down to 15*, and it is going to be cooler at night. So I am hoping to see a 12 second pass.
