That's not true at all. First off, as long as you match the correct tire size with the wheel diameter, the speedometer will remain as accurate as it would with a set of stock 245/45/17's on 17x8” wheels.nwapache said:There is no upside to changing to a 15" wheel, it will throw your speedo/odo off, and look pretty goofy to boot. As for the type of wheels.....nothing looks better (or meaner) in 15" than a set of Welds to me, but that's just my personal opinion. American Racing "Torque Thrust" wheels look very similar to Bullitt's if that's what tickles your fancy and can be had in almost all sizes.
