Well....a exhaust shop charges what 20-30 bucks to do it? Im not sure, i dont have any yet. But you figure you will spend atleast $80 on a set, then intall. I would say $125-130 maybe. Depends on how good you are and how good the SF will be.

It doesnt take an hour to weld up subframes though does it? Hopefully some other guys will come in who have taken theirs to a shop.

I would think that if the quality is there then $150 is the top end of reasonable for a DIY subframe kit...

Your getting ripped. I took my car to an exhaust shop (national chain) to reweld the exhaust hangers, and they charged me $7, plus they let me come in there while it was on the lift to check some other stuff out. I would say $30 would be about right as far as what they would charge me to do SF's. They said the only reason my hangers were $7 was because that is their minumum charge.

well im not actually getting ripped. i never went to an exhaust shop. i guess i was ASSuming. i wouldnt put up a car for under $20 but i guess chains do it cause they want repeat customers and they do stuff that loses money to make people happy.

thanks for the input guys

The place i go to isnt a chain, just a guy that "takes care of people" thus is huge amount of business he gets.
