I drive a 2003 v6 coupe and the rims are really bad. I cant really afford to upgrade my tires to a larger size so i was looking to buy new 16 inch rims. I either want black or chrome but it seems to be really difficult to find 16 inch rims that will fit my car. Any suggestions?

Well, anytime you go to buy rims, they're gonna make you dish out some $$. Depending on how much you are looking to spend, you can usually get some good looking ones for around $500 a set.

Save a little more money and only consider at the very least 17" rims.
American Muscle gives a great explanation to what rim sizes to use along with which tires.
Look at the "staggered" layouts.
Good Luck & do the right thing. You'll be happiest in the end.

Since you are looking for 16's .. and you DO want chrome, try this Chrome 1995 Style Cobra R Wheel 94-04 (16x8) at AmericanMuscle - Free Shipping! - $149 a piece. There are only a couple of rims in the 16 inch zone to choose from. The others are silver.

You can also check out this list of 17" rims that will fit. Many chrome rims here and only about 12 bucks more a piece. 17" Ford Mustang Wheels, 17" Mustang Rims at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

Those are some good deals if you ask me.

Just go on craigslist , I just found some gt500 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 rims and tires for $700 on there and they are brand new. You just have to look around and check every day, you'll find some.
