16 inch wheels on a 65gt

I have decided to go with 16 inch wheels on my 65gt. My question is for people that have run 16 inch wheels on these cars. With a 16x8 on the rear and a 16x7 on the front what back spacing would be the best. My main concern is on the front with the control arm and ball joint being so close to the wheel.

Well I have done some research and it looks like on a 16x8 a 4.5 backspace will work and on the front with a 16x7 a 4 inch backspace would work. I was hoping someone that has 16 inch rims might chime in. Does anybody use a 16 inch rim on this forum?

Here are some old school Saleen 16's I used to have in 16x7 and 16x8's. In the last pic it has 255 DR's on the back.
