I have 10.5 inch rims on the back and I was wondering if anyone else has this size rim and if so what tires are good!

That is a sweet looking stang! have you heard about any types of street tires, with a treadwear over 250. I have had suma's HTR and didn't like them, and the rims originally came with Nitto NT555 Drag radials. I heard the BF goodrich KDW is a good street tire.

Nitto 555's have a treadwear of 300, and the Nitto 555R DR's have lasted me almost 12k and are still going strong.

Nitto NT555's are the best tires I have ever had. They have lasted over 30,000 on the front and are still going! But the Drag Radials only lasted 5,000 to 10,000 before they were bald(Which is their purpose I suppose?)
The problem I am having is finding a Street Tire to fit the 10.5 inch rims with a tread ware of 300. Nitto doesn't make the NT555 in that size which sucks!.

I may try those KDWs next. Don't know the tread wear rating though.

I have 17X10.5 with some 315/35 Nittos DRs. A guy in another stang (it sounded sweet) asked me if I needed that big of a tire..... I just smiled and say sometimes. Loved my stang, and my rims.

I have Nitto 315/35/17 drag radials. I previously had 315/35/17 BFG drag radials and they hooked much better than the Nittos.

I use Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's on mine. 285/40/17. They have served me well. Also, the MX is available in the same size.

check this site out, their pricing and listings go up and down, but I ordered my Nittos from them and had them in like 3 days, best price i have ever got on tires, 140 a piece for my 315x35x17 Nitto 555R DR's. I could swear that they made the 555's in that size as well, but ionno. If they dont have them then just ask what they have in that size. Call them, you will be glad you did http://www.savastire.com/wheels_tires/nitto_tires.htm
