i am thinkning of getting some of these for the back of the stang. i just recently picked up and extra set of chrome bullitts for my car and want something fat in the back to match the look with my original color bullitts i also have. i have some 275/40 17's in my garage and was wandering if they would fit this rim?? i have dr's on the originaly color rims and am going to be using them for track only, but i want something fat on the back mainly for looks on the chrome bullitts...anyone know if this tires size would fit the deep dish rim?

The 275s will fit for sure... but they will look really tiny on those rims.

I'm running 315/35s on my 10.5s right now and they look meaner than hell. 295s would probably look OK.

Also, there is a noticable difference between the stocker bullit rims and the deep dish rims sold by wheelsreplicas. Someone who didn't know what they were looking at would just say the fronts were dirty... but it is noticable. And if your like me, it will drive you snake****. Which is why I ended up getting all four rims.

Best of luck!

yeah i have the 315's on my original color bullitts. i just got these rims and dont like the eight inch rims in the back after having the 10.5's and the 315's. i will eventually get around to getting a street oriented 315 size tire, but i have the 275 sitting in my garage so i figured i would go ahead and order the back rims and put these on and just the get the tires when i get the chance if they would fit. thanks for the help guys

Yeah it the 275 will fit a 10.5 rim but their will be some rim exposure (no rim protection from rocks and devry[sp]) I currently have 315 Nitto DR's on my bullitt 10.5 and they look about normal (no sidewall hangover) and the back is just sweet.

It will fit but as said before they look really small and no protection to the lip
In this picture i had 275's on yokohama ES 100's

the 275 should be alright for what i want to do. they are just cruiser rims anyways, i have 315's on my charcoal bullitts for racing. also bullitt03 are ur front 17X8's ? it looks nice and i hope mine looks like that with the eights up front i dont want them to look to small up front.

so your saying the stock bullitt rims are darker than the replica ones from like discount tire or mustang tuning? i had heard it the other way around that the replica ones were darker than the stock ones.

I have hear that the aftermarket ones are a little lighter and do not match the first gen bullitts that I belive 01-02GTs have, but the second gen (if you want to call them that) match the replicas better...take a look some time at bullt rims on the loder GTs vs the newer ones, there is a pretty big difference.
