17x10.5 rear wheels. What tires?

I have Sumi's and can not wait to get ride of them. During normal take off on wet roads they spin and cause the ass end to fish tail waay to easy. These tires are flat out dangerous on wet roads, I have no confidence in them while on wet roads.

Sumitomos are ok for the price IMO, but you get what you pay for. Yes, wet weather is dangerous with them, I can only imagine snow! Especially with 315's... Dry traction is ok at best. I really dont think 275's would stretch onto a 10.5 inch wheel unless you had a really tall sidewall. Even if it did, I think it would look really silly. And that is coming from a guy who loves the look of his 255's on his front 9 inch wheels.

BUt theyre rated highly in wet weather on the Web sites. Who did those ratings

I have 305/35/18 on an 18 x 10 wheels so for 10.5 I would definately say to go for the 315.
