Greetings everyone!

I came across a set of 17x8 rims from an '07 Mustang for a great price. I'll be doing Mustang Steve's '05+ disc brakes on the front (12.5" rotors), so I couldn't pass the rims up.

I decided to do a test fit on my factory drums, since the spacing of the above conversion is (supposed to be) the same. I'm using 1.5" hub-centric adapters. The rims bolt up, but I notice I've got ~maybe~ 1/8" clearance between the top edge of the rim and the top of the spindle (where the upper control arm meets).

Should I be concerned with these tight tolerances?

What else I would be concerned with if you truly only have an 1/8" or slightly more as horse says, You might have them balanced with stick on weights instead of traditional weights that could be wiped off by the upper control arm.
