Luis, how did you get a Stang in Mexico.........this may sound dumb but only the wealthy have them down there? Did you get it from Cali?

I was in Mexico DF for a month and didnt see even one.

Maybe 2 to 3% of total of car are stang, and porcentage there are:
95-2006 = 40%
85-94 (no sell in mexico) = 5%
79-84 = 45%
74-78 = 5%
64-73 = 5%

My car was 1981, but whit conver 1990

2220 m is 7284 ft which is 1.4 mi. That's over 5 times longer than the regular 1/4 mi track a lot of us race at.

Most stock 5.0s will do 14.5 to 16.5 seconds in a 1/4 mile depending on the condition of the car, the transmission and the driver.

I'd say 18.7 seconds is quite fast to do over a mile, so now I'm just thinking that maybe 2220m is your elevation? Sorry, now I've just confused myself.

What was the length of the track?

Edit: Haha, should have kept my mouth shut. I'll say again, 14.5 - 16.5 seconds.
HAhahahahahahhaha:lol:  :rlaugh: :rlaugh: That post just made my morning. Thank you so very much for the laugh.

What was the air temp and hunidity when you ran? If it was hot, I wouldn't be suprised if the denisty altitude was 8000-9000ft... 2438m-2743m.
Did they give you more than just 1/4 ET and MPH?

I ran at 23:00 hours, the ticket says Elapsed time=17.218 sec, vehicle speed=126.43 kph (78.55 mph), Reaction time=0.981 Red ligth=no and Total Time=2.599 (what is it?)

did you let off?? that MPH seems really low, is it still the stock 81 motor or is it rebuilt or from another car? that could be the problemo hombres
