Yeah, it sucks! You see people brag about their 13 sec passes with only a K&N and some exhaust.

Ok serious question, have you ever even driven your car outside of your driveway? And not to park it in the street.

Your 17.2 at that altitude roughly converts to about a 15.6 at sea level for what it's worth.

79-84 = 45%
74-78 = 5%

2220 m is 7284 ft which is 1.4 mi. That's over 5 times longer than the regular 1/4 mi track a lot of us race at.

Most stock 5.0s will do 14.5 to 16.5 seconds in a 1/4 mile depending on the condition of the car, the transmission and the driver.

I'd say 18.7 seconds is quite fast to do over a mile, so now I'm just thinking that maybe 2220m is your elevation? Sorry, now I've just confused myself.

What was the length of the track?

Edit: Haha, should have kept my mouth shut. I'll say again, 14.5 - 16.5 seconds.

What was the air temp and hunidity when you ran? If it was hot, I wouldn't be suprised if the denisty altitude was 8000-9000ft... 2438m-2743m.
Did they give you more than just 1/4 ET and MPH?

Total time looks like your 60ft time..2.5 means you were spinning the tires alot.. get some practice in and you should be able to get it down around 2.1
What was the temperature when you ran?
