Hey All,

Okay, luvin my '01 Cobra Convert. Had it for four days now. What to do a couple upgrades. I want to put bigger wheels and tires and also go with Eibach Springs. My question is do I go with 18" or 20" wheels? And what size tires?

Thanks in advance!

Go for the 18 inch wheels. You don't want them to look too big on that car. 18's look just right.

18's fill the wheel well really nicely. I recommend 2000 Cobra R's or BBK RS's.

Its all a matter of opinion. I like my 20s. I have 20x9 with 275/30/20. I get alot of compliments also. They can't look to bad, the first award show I went to, I took third place.

I think if you go with 20s, keep them simple. A nice 5 or 6 spoke design looks best.

talked to the svt team at detroit hot rod show,I asked them about wheel sizes...they told me anything over 18 starts to work against itself due to mass...18 seems to be the magic number....they had an awsome 95 600hp cobra there..when I asked them what car to buy they told me a 94 or 95 cobra...just bought one and love it

anything over an 18" wheel on a mustang is retarded...you are defeating the purpose of having a sports car when you put that big of wheels on it...Nothing like adding about 100lbs of uneeded weight to a car...Save the "DUBS" for the SUV's and the pimps...
