Is this too wide for the rim? Unsafe? Anyone know the maximum width for these wheels? Thanks!

My plans are for the 18 x 9 fronts with the 265/35 x 18
18 x 10 rear with 315/30 x 18

Help!

I'd love that size too but not too much choice besides the P-Zero (which I will never buy again)... I think the BFG GForce or Nitto in 295 will be better although it's only 295 wide :-(

315's maybe - consider Kumho

Kuhmo Ecsta MX

I just put on Kuhmo Ecsta MX 295/35/18's on new Bullitt replica 18x10's today (18x9 front with 275/35/18). I'm happy so far with them except for the gigantic space they left under the wheel wells The width is sweet from the rear view I had to buy new springs to lower it a little to reduce the 4x4 look (Ford B Springs). So far so good, so I recommend giving them a look should you go with 295's. I have heard that 315's are more of a 10.5" tire, but I'm no authority so take that with a grain of salt. Good Luck!

315 will fit, but I think the sidewalls will bulge a bit. I have Yokohama 295's on my 10" wheels, and it's perfect.

Would I go with a 30 ratio at 305 width?

I have Michelin Pilot Sports 295-35-ZR18 on my saleen 18x10. I am thinking of doing a 305 or 315 also.

So if I go over a 295 width, then the aspect ratio should drop to a 30? That is if I use the 265/35x18 fronts???

yes.. consider the nitto 305/30.. their tires are a little thinner than other brands which would make for a good fit on your 18x10's

295/35 = Little bit taller than stock, really fills the wheel wells up nice on a lowered car.
