180 thermostat

if i go with a 180 thermostat (NAPA)for my 02 GT do I need to do anything to the computer ie cooling fan turn on temp isssues or what ever??

Nope you should have no problems.

don't waste your money....just flush your cooling system every 20-25k miles

without upgrading your radiator the cooler stat will open sooner and the coolant in the radiator has LESS time to cool off.....trust me, it isn't going to help or hurt

Taking the stat completely out will cause this but a 180 will not and it will help.

Go to modulardepot.com and talk to randy in ford parts I think it is 5 bucks. If you have the ability to adjust your fan settings do it if you dont it wont help in town only on the highway.
