I've been doing a fair amount of work on the stang the last few weeks (ended up returning the xpipe since the headers that match it were not in stock and I added PI cams) and I figure that the tstat hasn't been replaced in a long time. Plus the temperature seems to fluctuate slightly, so why not play it safe? Anyways, I was curious as to if it would work out alright having a superchip tune (fan turn on and such)? Or should I just get a 192* one instead?

I recently changed mine to a 180* stat. I changed my fan turn on temps to coincide with the cooler t-stat.(With my XCal II) It stays noticeably cooler on the gauge. Alot of people will tell you to stick with the stock replacement, but the 180* will not hurt you. Just don't go with anything cooler than that tho.
