I need help. My car is lowered with H&R SS springs. I am planning to get 18x9 fr and 18x10 rears. My question is that if I put a 285/35/18 in the back, will I rub with this drop. And also if I get 265/35/18 in the front will I rub also? Please help. Im planning to get these rims and tires soon and need input so if need be I'll get a set of new springs that arent that low. Please post pics if you have also.Thanks.

You should be ok on the rear, however I rub in the front with 265/35/18 when I turn hard.

Is the rubbing pretty bad? Should I go 245/40's? Well I see you have a 96 or up, I have an 02 do I have more clearance in the front?

No. Don't turn super tight and it won't rub.

I had the same setup, with the rims and super sports. Only difference was I had 275/35/18s all around. In the rear there was no rubbing at all and in front it only rubbed if I turned the wheel all the way. You will be OK.

I never had rubbing issues with the 2in drop with 285/35/18's or with turning.

The chassis tends to have leeway and it's not always the same on each car so the outcome is always different.
