im looking at getting 18x9 Fr500 anthracite wheels from wheelreplicas.com. Anyways, whats the widest nitto dr i can put on this wheel without it looking ugly? And will there be any noticable decrease in performance with the larger wheels/tires? any size reccomendations?

what about 305/35/18's on the back? is that too much for a 9inch wheel? and did it slow you down at all when you went to 18's? btw-im running 3.73's right now.

I just ordered my 18x9 and 18x10 saleen replica rims today, so I'm not an expert yet. I'm just going by the advice everyone gave me. So I don't know how much they will slow me down. I don't think it will be significant, and I like good cornering performance, so I'm not worried.

I'm getting BFG g-Force T/A KD. The sizes I'm getting are 265/35/18 in front, and 295/35/18 in back, because that's the sizes that Saleens and Roushes ship with, according to the advice I got.

I know at least one guy was planning to put 315/30/18 BFG on his 18x10, and BFG runs wider than Nitto, so maybe 305/30/18 nittos would fit on an 18x9 okay. I'm not sure though. I wouldn't do it, but I'm more conservative (for now).

Here is the thread that I started a few days ago:

Try doing a Search->Advanced_Search, using the keyword "18x9".

that tire size is too tall. It will effect your speedo. 305/30/18 would be better. Otherwise 285/35 is what i would do. to be honest, 285/35 is a good fit for 9".. It will look nice and wide from behind and it fits the rim well.. otherwise you are going to be pooching quite a bit.
