1964.5 Mustang Worth Saving?

Todd, I feel a good choice would be to do the body how you want, and resto mod the rest. Make it a nice driver. I disagree with those who restore cars just for the monetary value to be gained. It's against the principle function of a car. Build it so you can enjoy it.

Hi guys' I'm not against restomoding a 64, especially if it has salt damage and was original a 6 cyl. car. I cut up a good 67 fastback to build a radical modified for show, just mainly noise and fire.

Hi, yes, we started restoring, parting out, and selling parts in late 1977 and for years, had 5 spots at the Turlock superbowl weekend swap meet. The weather was always so bad, I wouldn't put my good parts out. was the worst time of year to have a big swap meet here. I had at one time, 68 complete mustangs besides all the ones we bought just to part out. Back then, there were mustangs sitting everywhere, driveways, alleys in fields, etc. Ooooh, for the good old days. I thought there would be a never ending supply. I cut up excellent fastback and conv. bodies to sell a quarter panel. I still have 15 mustangs, but have got too damn old to do much more work. I have a 69 and a 70 ram air 428 CJ, both are rolling bodies, also have 4 / 1969 conv's, two 67 Fb's, a 64 1/2 conv. and others. All are now for sale. Harry
